About the Role
As the Cleaner at Warwick State High School, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support. You will be responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to an acceptable standard, as determined by your supervisor and in accordance with the approved school cleaning program. This role is offered at 0.34 FTE, equating to 26.5 hours per fortnight, and is until 19 September 2025 unless otherwise determined.
Your Responsibilities
As the Cleaner, your opportunities and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
All aspects of cleaning and sanitising across a variety of areas - general classrooms and staffrooms, Manual Arts areas, Home Economics areas, Special Education classrooms, Sports and Multi-purpose Halls, Gymnasium, Library and main office area
Maintaining equipment, and appropriate use of chemicals
Disposal of rubbish and litter control.
Securing buildings, and activating and disarming school security systems
