About The OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunityfor an
*Electronics Technician
to play a keyrolein a high-impact program within our
Red Ochre Autonomy and Sensors
team, based onsite at
our facility based in Oakey, Queensland*
.
This full-time position runs
*Monday to Frida*
y.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on ATC navigation and comms systems.
- Use Defence maintenance systems to log and manage tasks.
- Respond to operational needs and controller staff.
- Work independently to diagnose faults, certify maintenance, and support system integration.
- Complete OEM training (including travel) to support system readiness.
- Comply with internal reporting requirements.
About YOU
- Minimum Certificate III/IV in Electronics
- Must have experience in a relevant technical industry
- Proven experience with complex electronic systems is highly desirable
- Previous experience working with radar and/or air traffic control systems is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a highly regulated, defence-aligned environment
- Negative Vetting Level1 security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
