Field Service Technician

An exciting career opportunity is now available at Environdata Weather Stations, a local Warwick electronics manufacturer. We are seeking a motivated and independent person to fill a Service Technician role to meet the needs of our expanding Service Team.

Environdata Weather Stations Pty Ltd specialises in the design, manufacture and sale of automatic weather stations, weather sensors, mounting hardware, weather station software and telemetry options.

We have been in operation since 1982 and are proudly Australian Made and Australian Owned. Our weather stations and weather sensors are designed to survive in the harsh extremes of the Australian climate, providing our customers with robust and reliable weather monitoring solutions.

About the role:

We seek a dedicated Service Technician to enhance our team at Environdata Weather Stations in Warwick, QLD. This role is critical to the service department for the installation, annual servicing and repair of our customer's onsite weather stations located Australia wide. The work is divided between field and office work. The position also demands strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols. Ideal candidates should possess some electronics knowledge and have basic computer & Microsoft Office skills.

Role Duties include:

• Installation and service of professional weather recording systems at customer sites
• Preparation of the service reports to final customer standard (Word document)
• Service and support to customers
• Management and rotation of service stock
• Vehicle pre-start checks & Cleaning for your company vehicle.
• Organising and preparation of travel plans and required equipment.
