About The Role
Peabody are currently seeking
ERZ Controllers
to join our Centurion underground mine
,
Our Centurion mine is located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. There are multiple roles available in Outbye, Development and Longwall (on track to launch early 2026).

Your key responsibilities:

• Guide the team to hit targets, follow mine rules, and keep operations safe.
• Ensure a safe work area, spot and manage risks, and support safety initiatives.
• Coach and support team members to perform their best and follow behaviour standards.
• Follow environmental guidelines, prevent breaches, and reduce community impacts.
• Check equipment performance, note conditions, and report updates to coordinators.
• Look for ways to improve mining methods and ensure all work meets standards.

The lifestyle:
This role is a permanent opportunity and is offered as a 7:7 day/night roster with FIFO and DIDO options. Flights will be included for the candidate to fly from Brisbane into Moranbah. Relocation assistance will also be offered to the right candidate.

About Peabody
About you:

• A strong safety and risk management focus
• Be an effective communicator and team player
• 3rd Class Managers Certificate of Competency or Deputy's Certificate of Competency
• Competent in Supervisory skills
• S1, S2, S3 and risk management and investigation
• Commitment to high performance standards

In addition to the above, you will have a genuine commitment to safety and demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification. You will be an exceptional team member with a flexible attitude and sound work ethic.
