The Role
As Assistant Branch Manager, reporting to our Hire Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating both daily hire's and long-term strategic hire solutions for a range of customers.
Keeping operations efficient and customer-focused - you'll help drive revenue, maintain high standards, and support the branch in achieving our goals.
Known for delivering on our promises, we are customer-focused, reliable, efficient, and accurate in everything we do.
- Coordinate Hire operations – meeting customer needs efficiently and accurately, ensuring seamless delivery and pick-up of hire equipment every time
- Maximise asset utilisation – ensuring yard equipment is serviced, tagged, and ready to go; always knowing what we have and where it is
- Manage hire margins and costs – monitoring sub-hire, transport, and fuel expenses to achieve branch targets
- Deliver strong customer outcomes – providing responsive service and identifying opportunities to increase hire and sales
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience working within the Hire industry
- Experience working with Compressed Air, Generators or other similar capital equipment is highly desired
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
