Pointe Engineering is an Australian Specialist Ground Improvement Contractor. We are experts in controlling water and stabilising ground for surface and underground infrastructure such as dams, roads, tunnels and mines. We pride ourselves on delivering innovative, timely and high-quality construction works.

We are a small team making a big impact, and our supervisors are not just managers — they are hands-on drilling supervisors who lead from the front, working alongside their crews in the field.

Qualifications & Experience


• Supervisor training (G1, G8, G9)


• IRATA rope access certification


• Shotcrete experience (concrete finishing) highly regarded


• Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and procedures


• Strong natural attention to detail

Tasks & Responsibilities

What you'll be doing:


• Leading from the front as a hands-on drilling supervisor


• Operating and maintaining a range of drilling equipment safely and efficiently


• Drilling boreholes, sampling soils and rock, and conducting in-situ tests as required


• Interpreting geological conditions and adjusting drilling techniques accordingly


• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations


• Collaborating with the project team to provide timely and accurate data and reporting


• Performing routine maintenance and servicing of drilling equipment


• Mentoring and training junior team members as required

What We're Looking For


• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Driller in the construction industry, with leading hand/supervisor experience


• Proven ability to manage crews while remaining actively involved in drilling operations


• Strong technical knowledge of drilling techniques and equipment


• Proficient in interpreting geological conditions and adapting drilling methods accordingly


• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills


• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and environmental best practices


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Relevant licences and certifications, including a current driver's licence
