The Opportunity: Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake the design and analysis of small diameter tunnels, shafts, and underground.
- Provide expert advice on a range of trenchless methods, including microtunnelling, auger boring and HDD.
- Provide design and implementation of trenchless technology solutions, including microtunnelling, pipe jacking, and horizontal directional drilling (HDD).
- Undertake geotechnical analysis.
- Ensure designs and technical documentation comply with relevant Australian standards and client specifications, including for example, Transport and Main Roads (TMR) specifications.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 10 years of experience in civil or geotechnical engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in trenchless technology design and construction.
- A strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and their application to tunnelling and trenchless technologies.
- Proven experience working on major infrastructure projects, preferably in the public utilities sector.
