About the role

The role of Accounts Payable Officer (AP) works with a small, dedicated team of professionals processing invoices, ensuring payments are made on time to suppliers and working closely with suppliers to discuss invoices.

This is a permanent position, based at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Sending invoices to facilities according to information on invoices and following up authorisers when required
  • Working closely with all enabling and operational areas and our suppliers including resolution of problems and disputes between HammondCare and suppliers
  • Answering and resolving phone and email enquiries from suppliers and operational areas
  • Suggest potential improvements to process flow
  • Monthly statement reconciliation

About You

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
  • At least two year's demonstrated experience in a high volume Accounts Payable role
  • Excellent communication with strong English language skills both written and verbal
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Empathy and patience
  • Exposure to Coupa and Epicor systems advantageous
  • Exposure to the Aged Care Sector advantageous
