About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join the dynamic team at TWT Property Group Pty Ltd in our St Leonards office. As a key member of our finance leadership group, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and reporting for the company. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing strategic financial advice and analysis to support the company's decision-making processes
  • Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports
  • Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
  • Managing the company's accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities
  • Supervising and developing a team of finance professionals
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's financial systems and processes

What we're looking for

  • Qualified accountant (CPA or CA) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Extensive experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the real estate, construction or property development industry
  • Excellent financial management and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proficient in the use of financial management software and systems, including ERP and accounting packages
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A strong commercial acumen and the ability to work collaboratively across the organisation
