The Opportunity

As a Fabricator at MATERIAL RECOVERY SOLUTIONS PTY LTD', you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality industrial equipment. Based in Luscombe QLD 4207, this full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic company within the Trades & Services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate, assemble, and install a variety of industrial equipment and components
  • Utilize specialized welding equipment and techniques to ensure precision and integrity of fabricated parts
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and modification tasks on existing equipment as required
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions and improve manufacturing processes
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety, and attention to detail
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the workshop

What We're Looking For

  • Formal qualifications in Boilermaking, Fabrication, or a related trade
  • Experience in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of industrial equipment
  • Proficient in the use of various welding techniques, including MIG, and stick welding
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Be a team player
  • Willingness to learn and open minded
