Travis McLeod fromri-kroot has been engaged to recruit an experienced installation and trade assistant, to join a longstanding metal fabrication company based on the Southern Gold Coast.

Working at a great location close to the M1 South, you will be an integral support to the onsite installation and workshop teams, with each week providing a good variety of site installations, workshop product finishing and also delivering and picking up orders to powder coaters and galvanisers.

Paying $43.75 per hour & OT & Super on a casual to permanent arrangement, the requirements for this role are;  

  • Experience with measuring, marking out and installation onsite
  • Experience assembling metal and aluminium structures
  • Experience with hand tools and safety procedures
  • Manual work- loading, unloading, bending, lifting, and carrying
  • Support the welding team with finishing and cleaning of new structures
  • Local deliveries in company vehicle (DL manual required)
  • Blue Card to work at schools for installations
  • Construction White Card
