Are you a driven and results-oriented sales professional with a passion for the veterinary industry? Do you excel at building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer support? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Veterinary Sales Consultant.

A day in the life
As a Veterinary Territory Manager , your primary responsibility will be to define and implement key strategies to win in your territory through strong clinic acquisition and clinic support. In this role you will be managing our Melbourne Metropolitan and surrounds Territory.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clinics and support existing clinics in your territory.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing and new clinics, ensuring their needs are met and targets are achieved.
  • Prioritise each clinic and create tailored customer plans to meet their specific needs, including training and education, appropriate product ranging and pricing, and a strong in-clinic activation plan.
  • Implement, follow up, and update customer plans to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop an education and training plan for Pro Plan Veterinary Diets, Supplements & Purina products within your territory.
  • Coordinate the development of an aligned TTS (Training, Tools, and Support) strategy to support priority initiatives.
  • Collaborate with peers to share best practices and learnings
  • Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies.

What will make you successful?

  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong leadership and team working skills
  • Proven experience in sales in the veterinary or animal health industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of veterinary products and services is highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
