Due to the exponential growth and diversification of our business, we are seeking a driven, and capable Senior Financial Accountant - with a strong tax background and property experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Balance sheet reconciliation and inter-company journals
- GST reconciliation and BAS lodgements
- Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Drive continuous process improvements, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline financial reporting and forecasting
- Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Provide technical accounting guidance and mentor junior finance team members
Key Requirements:
- CPA/CA qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience in financial accounting within a large complex organisations
- Strong understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing best practices
- Proficiency in financial systems - Netsuite, XERO and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Strong taxation background, development and real-estate experience
