Due to the exponential growth and diversification of our business, we are seeking a driven, and capable Senior Financial Accountant - with a strong tax background and property experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance sheet reconciliation and inter-company journals
  • GST reconciliation and BAS lodgements
  • Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analyses
  • Drive continuous process improvements, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline financial reporting and forecasting
  • Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and mentor junior finance team members

Key Requirements:

  • CPA/CA qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in financial accounting within a large complex organisations
  • Strong understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing best practices
  • Proficiency in financial systems - Netsuite, XERO and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong taxation background, development and real-estate experience
