Calytrix Technologies is an Australian-owned company specialising in training systems integration for Defence and international partners. With offices in Perth, Canberra, the UK and USA, we are dedicated to enhancing joint and collective training through cutting-edge simulation systems and exercise support.

We are seeking expressions of interest from recently retired ADF officers (O3–O6 level) to join our Canberra-based team. You will play a critical role in planning and delivering major ADF and Coalition joint collective training activities within HQJOC's Joint Collective Training Branch (JCTB).

The Role

Working alongside ADF, APS and industry personnel, you will:

  • Plan and support joint and combined exercises to strengthen ADF preparedness.
  • Contribute to bilateral and high-end warfighting training with coalition partners.
  • Collaborate with a large technical team delivering advanced simulation solutions.
  • Apply your operational and staff expertise to enhance joint training outcomes.
What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • Recently retired as an O3–O6 level officer.
  • HQJOC staff experience and strong knowledge of joint doctrine.
  • Experience in deployed Joint Task Force operations and/or joint exercise planning.
  • Staff College (or equivalent) qualifications.
  • A willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • A current NV2 security clearance (with the ability to obtain TSPV).
  • Must be an Australian citizen eligible for and able to maintain required security clearances

Domain expertise in any of the following areas will be highly regarded:

  • Maritime: PWO, Submariner, Aviation
  • Land: Combat Arms
  • Air: Aircrew, Air Battle Manager
  • Cyber: Planning & Operations
