Maritime Warfare Planner Role Overview

The position of Maritime Warfare Planner involves working with experienced Principal Warfare Officers to develop and execute exercises in maritime operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of air, surface, and sub-surface warfare, as well as the ability to coordinate planning teams and ensure Exercise and Training Objectives are met.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to provide advice and assistance to senior planners and stakeholders. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a firm understanding of military exercise planning, including scenario design and delivery.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing expert advice on maritime warfare operations to senior planners and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating planning teams to achieve Exercise and Training Objectives.
  • Ensuring integration of amphibious operations within exercises.

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of 10 years' experience in similar roles, with a proven track record of success in military exercise planning. They will also possess excellent communications skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and meet ITAR compliancy requirements.

Australian Citizenship is a requirement for this position, and the successful candidate must also be eligible for a Security Clearance. NV1 security clearance would be highly advantageous.
