Mrs Mac's and Balfours are Australian household names in pies, sausage rolls, pasties and sweet bakery product. Manufactured at our facilities in Perth and Adelaide, our products are found all over Australia and New Zealand.

Since Aus Pie Co purchased the brands in 2022, we focus on our customers, to ensure we partner to grow both our businesses. We have made significant investment in relaunching the brands, with a distinct focus on quality and product innovation.

We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to deliver profitable sales growth and win new business for our iconic Australian brand portfolio: Mrs Mac's, Balfours, and Cockle Bay.

About the role:

As our NSW Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for meeting our budget and delivering profitable sales growth here in NSW.

As part of your new role, you will be expected to provide an excellent customer experience, ensuring you maintain our strong existing relationships, as well as winning new business.

You will be based out of our office in Rhodes, New South Wales, and report directly to the National Account Manager - Major Accounts. Given the nature of this role, you will be expected to travel (NSW, metropolitan and regional).

About you:

We are looking for a commercially focused individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

In order to succeed in this role, you will bring the following:

  • Prior experience as a State/Key Account Manager in the FMCG or food industry.
  • A proven track record of securing new business throughout your career.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to build customer relationships and understand their needs.
  • Tertiary Degree or Qualification in a relevant field (Desired).
  • A valid Australian Driver's License.
