What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain general ledger integrity and perform regular reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, GST, FBT, and payroll-related returns
  • Oversee payroll processing, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Support treasury and cash flow management activities
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure policy compliance
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions and strategic projects

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within a fast-paced or growth environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and statutory compliance
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
