Bel & Bril Talent Advisors is working with a number of Top 100 Accounting Firms based in Brisbane CBD and North and South of Brisbane currently seeking talented and motivated individuals to join their team as a Senior Accountant. There is a diverse range of clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents for private clients
  • Providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimise their tax liabilities
  • Advising clients on business decisions and financial management strategies
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their unique financial needs and goals
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the accounting team
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the firm's accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • At least 4+ years of tax compliance/Business services experience currently working within an accounting public practice firm in Australia
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification
  • Proven expertise in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and strategic financial advice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Thorough understanding of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices
