Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Network Director of Physician Training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
We are looking for a Network Director of Physician Training The key role of the position of Network Director Physician Training (Staff Specialist) is to provide educational leadership and oversight of the delivery of the Basic Physician Training Program in Royal Australasian College of Physicians accredited training settings within the NSW Network arrangements. They have overall responsibility for the Network and its hospitals (currently Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Bankstown Hospital, Balmain Hospital, Dubbo Base Hospital, Bathurst Base Hospital and Alice Springs Hospital) and work closely with Hospital Directors of Physician Training who focus on site responsibilities at hospitals within the Network.
The Network Director Physician Training (Staff Specialist) will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
Medical practitioner will be currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
