We are a family owned and run Sheetmetal/Waterjet Cutting/Manufacturing business and are seeking to employ an experienced CNC operator to run our Waterjet Machines.

The position provides an opportunity for the right candidate to have a long term position within a company that has more than 30 years experience within the Manufacturing industry.

There will be a 3 month probation period and you will be required to work a 38 hour week Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.36pm plus overtime when required

Onsite training will be provided where required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience/knowledge of the Manufacturing industry an advantage but not required
  • Work autonomously
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Willing to learn
  • Liaise with customers when required
  • Current Forklift licence (must be obtained if you do not have one by completion of probation)
  • Experience using Waterjet Cutting machines an advantage - 5 axis
  • Attention to detail
  • Reading & interpreting drawings
  • Perform machine adjustment calculations
  • Use knowledge of workplace standards to avoid accidents
  • Ensuring production requirements are being met
  • Ensuring internal process controls and documentation are being met
