About the role

Coogee Diggers' is looking for an experienced breakfast chef or chef de partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is a fulltime role based in our Coogee, NSW location. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of breakfast items to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes to a high standard
  • Preparing High standards gourmet sandwiches in daily basis
  • Contribute to menu development and seasonal sandwich ideas
  • Ensuring all food is presented beautifully and in a timely manner
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
  • Assisting the head chef with other kitchen duties as required
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years' experience as a breakfast chef or chef de partie in a similar hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of breakfast menu preparation and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Reliability and a positive attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills
  • Qualified with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
