Whitsunday Hearing

We are seeking a highly organised, self-motivated and professional team member who can assist in the management of the day-to-day operations of our busy hearing clinic.

The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to patient care, showing a high level of both drive and enthusiasm to have the practice working at its optimum.

Previous administrative experience in a medical practice is highly desirable, but not essential. You will need to utilise your advanced administration skills in addition to being confident and able to hit the ground running in our thriving practice.

Excellent presentation, attention to details and communication skills are essential.

The role would be based at our Cannonvale practice in the Whitsundays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the clinic.
  • Supporting the clinical team members as required, including inhouse servicing and repairs.
  • Maintain all administrative aspects of client care.
  • Assist with running an effective and efficient client focused business.
  • Cultivate confident relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Present as the friendly and resourceful face of the Whitsunday Hearing business.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A prior administrative role within a medical practice or similar business.
  • A genuine desire to provide high quality service to the clinical team, clients and referrers.
  • A commitment to improving the function and performance of the practice.
  • Understanding and experience of Microsoft Office Suite. Your IT skills would be used in a timely and efficient way with regards to the practice correspondence and to maintain accurate electronic patient records and accounts.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task as is needed in the practice environment.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in an audiology practice or similar profession
  • Deep understanding of Bluetooth mobile phone technology and its application in everyday life.
  • Proficient in mobile phone and Bluetooth pairing, with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues with Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Hours:

  • The hours of work will be 20.5 hours per week.
