We do more than collect the bin from your street we also; convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ's Yard Hand / Depot Labourer, you will perform general yard maintenance and cleanliness and carry out non-technical maintenance.

On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to be responsible for a variety of depot tasks including: tank farm operations, complete bin repairs and maintenance, bin preparation, vehicle washing and detailing, and general labouring duties.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

You will enjoy family friendly hours – no more long haul, DIDO or FIFO, as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends  Role due to an internal promotion.

ABOUT YOU:

• No Industry Experience Required
• Manual car licence (essential)
• Forklift licence (advantageous)
• MR truck licence (advantageous)
• Show interest and enthusiasm in a long-term career at JJ's
• Be reliable; we are an essential service industry
• Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance
• Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Able to provide your last 5 years' traffic history at interview stage
• Well-developed people and relationship skills
