We believe that good food and nutrition are the foundation blocks for learning, exploration, and wellbeing — and we're looking for a chef or cook who shares our love for wholesome, nourishing meals made with care.

About the Role

As our Centre Chef/Cook, you will play a key role in creating delicious, nutritious meals that support children's growth and development.

You will:

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–6 years.

• Work with an existing menu or design your own, showcasing creativity and passion for healthy food.

• Cater for individual dietary needs, allergies, and cultural requirements.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen in line with our Food Safety Program and relevant health regulations.

• Collaborate with educators and families to support children's overall health and wellbeing.

This position can be full-time or part-time, with negotiable hours to best suit you and the needs of our service.

About You

You're a dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic cook or chef who values the impact of good nutrition on early learning.

You will have:

• Experience as a chef or cook, ideally in childcare, aged care, or a similar setting. Min 2years experience.

• Experience preparing balanced, nutritious meals for children.

• Relevant Commercial Cookery / Hospitality qualifications.

• Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Basic training in Food Safety and Hygiene.

• A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

• A positive attitude, strong organisational skills, and pride in maintaining a welcoming kitchen environment.
