The role:

The National Tenancy Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective delivery of tenancy management services across multiple locations.

This involves leading a team and implementing best practices in tenancy management. A key focus is coordinating seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders, including retail partners and agencies, to achieve positive outcomes.

The goal is to ensure compliance with regulations, address risks, and support tenants in maintaining their tenancies and achieving successful fitouts and timely openings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the tenancy delivery program across multiple assets across the portfolio.
  • Oversee the tenancy delivery team to ensure approval process timeframes are met.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between tenancy delivery managers, leasing teams, project teams, centre teams, retail partners, and external consultants.
  • Monitor the progress of fitouts with the tenancy delivery team and ensure alignment with the overall centre leasing program and/or development timeline.
  • Address and resolve site-specific challenges with tenancy delivery managers to maintain program integrity and to ensure tenancy openings on time.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the client, tenants, leasing teams, and centre management.
  • Accountable for tenancy delivery budgets and cost forecasting, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum 5 years' experience, including managing large-scale retail or commercial fit-out projects.
  • Experience working for a Shopping Centre Landlord is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of tenancy design and fit-out processes, including design guidelines and sustainability practices.
  • In-depth understanding of Australian building codes, accessibility standards, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Strong budgeting and cost management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage and coordinate the efforts of multiple parties.
