We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Executive Assistant – Chief Executive Officer to join our team

What You Will Do:

As the Executive Assistant – Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-level executive and administrative support, ensuring the CEO's day-to-day operations run seamlessly. Your role will involve everything from high-level scheduling to strategic research and document management, all while representing the CEO's professional image with excellence.

This role offers a chance to make a real impact in a high-level executive environment and contribute to the strategic success of the organisation.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven ability to coordinate senior executive schedules while effectively prioritising and managing administrative tasks in a busy, high demand environment.
  • Previous experience providing executive support at a senior management level, preferably in local government.
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in the operation of computer applications including MS Office suite and in-house date bases supporting the preparation of reports, agendas, minutes, memoranda and correspondence
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation and policy applicable to Local Government and Councils operations including systems, reporting and accountability in a public sector agency.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with highly sensitive and strictly confidential matters, and the ability to demonstrate diplomacy and discretion ensuring the highest level of confidentiality is maintained.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, communication or equivalent; or relevant experience.
