We're looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile ICT development teams in delivering innovative, high-quality digital solutions. You'll coach teams and stakeholders on Scrum and Lean Agile practices, streamline processes, and foster collaboration through daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

You'll manage facilitate story refinement, and proactively remove impediments to ensure timely, efficient delivery. Collaborating closely with Product Owners, you'll build team capabilities, address skill gaps, and adapt strategies to evolving project requirements and technology changes.

Your focus will be on balancing project priorities, motivating teams, and boosting productivity through coaching and facilitation—empowering ICT teams to work collaboratively, respond flexibly to change, and achieve delivery goals with quality and agility.

About you

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to adapt processes to changing project's needs, solve complex issues and foster continuous improvements.
  • Proven experience leading Scrum teams, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • Experience in ICT and software development environments, understanding of digital solutions, system development and technology trends.
  • Expertise of understanding Agile principles, Scrum framework and related methodologies.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

This option would allow the WWCC to naturally expire without further communication needed with the employee. The employer obligations under the WWCC would apply for duration of the WWCC's validity (up to 5 years).
