Focused on providing on-demand power and vast storage capacity, this project is paving the way for a sustainable, low-carbon future.
The Role
As the Site Manager Electrical E&M, you will manage the technical site personnel overseeing all Electrical construction and installation activities for the 2.0 Owners team. Your core responsibility is to proactively ensure that all contractor work and the final built product strictly meet the contractual requirements and the Employer's Requirements (ER). You will report directly to the Project Manager E&M and provide essential 2IC support as needed.
We offer an initial 2-year contract, with the possibility of extension. Working a 14 days on / 7 days off (FIFO) roster, or a standard 5/2 (DIDO) roster if you are already located within the Snowy Mountains Region.
Key Responsibilities:

- Command Electrical Delivery: Take charge of the electrical team's resources You'll coordinate and monitor installation and construction activities with surgical precision, ensuring Snowy Hydro's interests and quality standards are powerfully maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Guarantee World-Class Quality: Be the ultimate gatekeeper of quality. You'll conduct rigorous, regular reviews of project deliverables to ensure they not only meet but exceed the highest engineering and quality standards.
- Drive Progress & Precision: Be the master of momentum. You'll continuously monitor, prioritise, and optimise progress and quality for both your team and your own work, ensuring we hit every key milestone with precision
- Cultivate a Winning Culture: Actively shape a positive and constructive team environment Your actions and influence will continuously model and develop a supportive culture, driving engagement and success within the team.
About you:
You'll bring to the team experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary Greenfield and Brownfield infrastructure projects, all supported by a Recognised Tertiary Degree in Electrical Engineering. Have proven expertise in managing projects with multiple contract interfaces and a strong, highly regarded knowledge of construction and E&M installation. You'll be committed to providing a safe, supportive workplace that is unwavering, and closely aligned with Snowy Hydro's corporate values. You can work autonomously to establish priorities and deliver objectives, using excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with all stakeholders, even in remote locations, and adapt quickly and constructively to any changing business demands.
