Technical Training Specialist
to design, implement and manage training programs that strengthen workforce capability, uphold our product quality, and ensure compliance across our manufacturing and distribution operations.

This role plays a key part in accelerating onboarding, preserving technical knowledge, and driving continuous improvement throughout our operations.

Initially offered as an
18-month fixed term contract
, this position provides an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on how we build capability across our teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a training strategy aligned with business and operational goals.
  • Lead and coach a team of trainers and coordinators to ensure effective and consistent training delivery.
  • Oversee the design and standardisation of training materials - including manuals, job aids, and digital learning content.
  • Ensure all programs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready training records.
  • Partner with production leaders to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
  • Build workforce flexibility through cross-training and capability frameworks.
  • Embed lean principles and standard work practices into training programs.
  • Use data, feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve training effectiveness.

You're an experienced training professional with a passion for building capability and supporting operational excellence. You enjoy being hands-on in the workplace and thrive on working collaboratively with leaders and teams to lift performance and maintain quality.

You'll Also Bring

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent).
  • Experience in manufacturing, production or distribution environments (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of WHS, quality systems and lean methodologies.
  • Proven experience designing, delivering and evaluating technical or operational training.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
