Pipeline Drillers Group is one of Australia's leading Horizontal Directional Drilling design and construction service providers, with over 25 years' experience. Our construction team specialises in the trenchless installation of gas, water, electrical and telecommunication pipelines, from urban centres to remote rural Australia.

We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker with strong fitter/mechanical skills to join our growing team in Sunnybank Hills. This is a permanent, long-term role with an immediate start available.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position within a fast-paced workshop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible not only for boilermaker/welding duties but also for assisting with mechanical fitting tasks, maintenance and repair of plant and equipment, and ensuring our fleet is kept operating at the highest standard.

To be successful in this role you will require:

· A positive attitude, hardworking and a commitment towards safety

· Recognised Trade Qualification with a minimum of 5 years' experience

· Mechanical fitter experience and advantage

· Proficient in fabricating and general welding

· Experience working on mobile and fixed plant and equipment

· Ability to diagnose and problem-solve, offering practical solutions

· Able to work in a team environment alongside other tradespeople

· Physically fit for the demands of the role

· Highly motivated and driven to achieve desired outcomes

· High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) an advantage

· Open Car Licence essential
