We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Fitter/Boilermaker to join our skilled Installations team based in Wacol.

Key duties
  • Performing modifications and installations for new or used vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders
  • Assembly and disassembly of vehicle loading cranes and hookloaders
  • Assembly of RHS subframes in line with engineering specifications
  • Assisting other workshop installation fitters with new crane or hookloader installs
  • Completion of all quality and process control documentation
  • Installation of ancillary electrical, mechanical and or hydraulic components associated with pre delivery inspections or installations
  • Always working in a safe manner and adhering to site policies and procedures to enhance the safety culture and performance of the site
To Be Successful, You Will Need
  • Prior experience working in a similar industry
  • Hold a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, or equivalent
  • Experience working on heavy vehicles
  • Experience with cranes and/or hook loaders is an advantage
  • Ability to interpret drawings and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely
  • Good time management and work prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Current Drivers licence, HR preferable
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a National Police Check
