About Us

Based at Gasworks Newstead, we are recruitment specialists in corporate and aged care labour hire. Since 2010, our reputation has been built on delivering fast service and accurate staff solutions to clients at any time.

Now entering a busy period, we seek an enthusiastic individual to support our team with client requests and staff allocations in Aged Care.

About the role

Working with us, you will respond professionally to incoming calls and emails from clients requesting staff for shifts at their facilities or in community aged care. This will include booking staff via our online scheduling platform and maintaining accurate records. Other duties will include:

  • Efficient phone and email follow up support to clients, contractors and team members
  • Responding to shift cancellations and staff availability changes, and updating information to our system
  • Supporting other areas including onboarding related tasks - reference checking, compliance and visa/document verification

This role requires an ASAP start and will commence on 30 hours per week casual (between Monday and Friday). After training you will work 2 days per week from home.

About You

The role offers variety of work but will require a high call-to-action attitude. Excellent business communication skills (phone and email) to build professional connections will be essential. Some previous experience in an agency environment (or people based/front line work ie recruitment, childcare, personal care, nursing etc) will be a great advantage but not essential.

Key Criteria:

  • Qualifications in a relevant discipline (min Diploma) and,
  • Experience in roles with general rostering or scheduling teams (advantageous)
  • Office administration skills including use of CRMs or software platforms
  • Multi-tasking skills to ensure bookings and allocations are complete
  • National Police Check
  • An interest in Aged Care
