The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.

Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.

This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria's history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of cross passages on a major tunnelling infrastructure project. This is a rare opportunity to take charge of a technically challenging and safety-critical scope, working closely with a team of tunnelling and construction specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of cross passage construction in a live tunnel environment
  • Coordinate civil, structural, geotechnical, and safety teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Ensure all works comply with design, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, project scheduling, and cost tracking.
  • Oversee quality assurance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide regular progress updates and contribute to broader project
    planning

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in tunnelling or underground construction
  • In-depth knowledge of cross passage construction, ground support, and waterproofing
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
