We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wall and Ceiling Contractor to join our growing team in Darwin. You'll be working on a range of commercial and residential internal fitout projects, delivering high-quality finishes in line with architectural specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Rondo systems and architectural acoustic linings, and be confident working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install wall and ceiling framing systems, linings, and finishes to a high standard.
  • Work confidently with Rondo products (track, stud, ceiling grid, and associated systems).
  • Install architectural acoustic and specialty lining systems to precise specifications.
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications accurately.
  • Carry out work efficiently and safely, maintaining attention to detail and finish quality.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, trades, and other team members.
  • Maintain site cleanliness and uphold professional presentation at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in internal wall and ceiling construction or fitout.
  • Strong working knowledge of Rondo systems and acoustic linings.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Own tools, vehicle, and current White Card.
  • Public liability insurance and relevant trade insurances.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to deliver work to schedule.
  • Professional presentation and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Pay: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour
