  • About the role

We are seeking experienced Carpenters/ceiling fixers/gyprock plasterers to join our team at NT Linings, to work in and around the Darwin area. Great opportunity to work on a variety of local commercial construction projects, with plenty of hours available.

What you'll be doing

Carry out carpentry tasks, including installing wall and ceiling framing, applying gyprock plasterboard to walls and ceilings, and fitting external cladding

  1. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks
  2. Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  3. Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  4. Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of wall framing, cladding, and gyprock installation
  2. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  3. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
  4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  8. Reliable and punctual
