The Role

This is a unique role that blends a wide variety of retail and wholesale/commercial skills and tasks. We are seeking a bubbly, professional, motivated and reliable commercial kitchen all-rounder and retail shop front worker to support our busy kitchen and brand new shop front. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a high-performing team. Retail and kitchen experience is preferred but not essential however a great attitude, willingness to learn and high work ethics are imperative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and finishing including; washing/peeling/chopping/blending ingredients, then decorating and packaging products for distribution.
  • Be presentable and friendly with customers, while processing orders and payments through our new retail shop front.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen with the rest of the staff; ensuring all surfaces, equipment, and utensils are sanitised regularly.
  • Wash dishes when required.
  • Support kitchen staff with basic tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP procedures at all times.
  • Assist with stock rotation and storage of ingredients.

  • Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene practices (or willingness to learn).
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Previous kitchen or food production experience is a bonus but not essential.
