Our Head Chef drives the success of our popular and well-respected venue in the Shoalhaven region. You'll bring your culinary vision and strong leadership to elevate the experience of our functions and Club guests.

What key responsibilities does this role have...?

  • As Head Chef, you will be the driving force behind our kitchen operations, leading a talented team and ensuring every dish served exceeds expectations. You will:
  • Develop and execute seasonal menus that align with our brand vision.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Using digital ordering and stock control platforms
  • Commercial and efficient stock control, ordering, and rostering.
  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently, ensuring food quality, consistency, and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies that boost customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Nurture effective relationships with local producers and suppliers, further strengthening our connection to the local community.
  • Drive the customer-first culture, using creativity and strong leadership.

Your ideal background…

  • Minimum of 5yrs experience in a Head Chef or senior food leadership role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • A strong understanding of modern Australian & Multicultural cuisine and seasonal menu development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to motivate the team to deliver amazing outcomes for our guests.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ideally, you'll have provided your expertise to develop a new commercial kitchen.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen management best practices.
  • You are confident in using technology for operations and reporting.
  • You're good with numbers and able to meet financial targets, manage cost and delivery produce efficiency.
  • Experience in multiple service and ordering platforms - digital QR and P.O.S.
  • Excellent attention to detail leading to consistent guest experiences.
