We are a large and successful Tier 1 Electrical contracting company south of Brisbane that work across multiple complex projects at any given time. The company has a strong foothold in the Transport, Defence, Health and Retail industries and are continuing to grow their footprint within Brisbane.

About the role

Currently seeking a Project Co-ordinator to join their team on major projects.

You will be joining a successful team who work across different sites and sectors of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of work packs, pre-start documentation, and deliverables for site teams.
  • Support the compilation of safety documentation (SWMS, risk assessments), site forms, and site compliance documentation.
  • Track and log variations, RFIs, RFQs, and other project changes.
  • Ensure that project deadlines and milestones are clearly tracked and communicated in project team meetings.
  • Manage purchase orders and financial tracking for construction projects.
  • Document control management, essentially acting as the gatekeeper of all documentation and alignment to clients expectations.
  • Auditing sites against the company project management framework, process and procedures.
  • Attend site project meetings, undertake records of minutes and tracking of actions and issues to completion.

About you

  • 3+ Years in a similar role within a construction site-based environment preferred (Electrical).
  • Excellent efficiencies with highly detailed outcomes.
  • Ability to multitask across complex projects while being able to successfully meet requirements and deadlines for all.
  • Understanding of construction workflow processes and priorities.
  • A person who takes pride in producing precise, accurate work.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in documentation management.
  • An analytical thinker who enjoys understanding how project management systems work to deliver exceptional results.
  • Experience with Aconex, Excel, Word, Document Control Management systems.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
