About the Role:

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Deceased Persons Transfer Officer. This casual, at-call role involves transporting the deceased from the point of death to the mortuary.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of empathy, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. You must be available for a range of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and respectfully transferring the deceased from the place of death to the mortuary.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Working closely with a team to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
  • Handling sensitive situations with the utmost respect and care.
  • Availability for shifts on weekdays, weekends, and nights on an as-needed basis.

  • No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
