THE OPPORTUNITY  

This presents an exceptional opportunity for a talented accountant to assume a supervisory role within an accounting services team on a permanent part-time basis. The chosen candidate will lead and train a small team and be responsible for delivering top-tier outsourced accounting services to a diverse clientele. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Provide training and mentorship to international accountants, ensuring alignment with Australian accounting practices Supervise junior accountants within the team, fostering their professional growth and development Act as the primary liaison between the international team and the office, facilitating effective communication and coordination Oversee the work of the team to ensure compliance with Australian accounting laws and regulations Enhance the team's capabilities through continuous training initiatives and constructive feedback Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to streamline workflow and achieve departmental objectives Maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions with team members and stakeholders Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in accounting operations  EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED   
Extensive experience in commercial or tax-related roles Bachelor's degree in accounting - related field Skilled in collaborating with offshore teams and managing cultural differences Proficient in evaluating client accounts and financial statements Expertise in journal adjustments, reconciliations, and documentation Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero, and MYOB Adept in interpersonal interactions and client relationship building Positive attitude and open to growth opportunities
