Disability Support Workers Residential Cleaners

About us -

Coastal Active Ability is an NDIS provider, based on the Central Coast and servicing the Central Coast and Newcastle.

We are a growing company and we pride ourselves on putting our clients needs first and offering the best service and care available.

The role -

Casual and/or part-time Support Workers, to assist our clients with their everyday needs. Flexible work schedule – opportunities exist for each day of the week and weekends.

We also have a position for a Residential Cleaner.

Immediate start available.

Qualifications and Experience -

Preferably, the applicant would hold a Cert III in Individual Support – Disability or be willing to obtain same through our RTO.

Prior experience supporting people with intellectual impairment and physical disability and challenging behaviours.

  • Effective advocacy skills that can help you focus on supporting a person's right to make choices and decisions that directly affect their life.
  • To understand the principles of community development and use inclusive initiatives that build networks of community supports and reduce social isolation.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • 100 point identification check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Driver's licence
  • Competent with Microsoft Office suite particularly MS Word.

Flexibility to work within a service that provides 24/7 care, this includes weekend work, sleepover and or active night shifts within a weekly roster.
