About the opportunity:

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to work in the Mt Gravatt area. The rate is from $37.25hr + superannuation.

Role Requirements:

  • Personal care and hygiene activities
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and ensure proper documentation of medication records.
  • Can follow and implement strict routines.
  • Experience in high support needs - autism spectrum disorder level 3
  • Great communication skills
  • Fluent in Filipino (Tagalog) highly preferred, due to client base

Typical duties might include:

  • Supporting customers to develop and maintain independence.
  • Supporting customers with personal care, including hygiene care, feeding, medication, dressing, toileting and showering.
  • Undertaking various household tasks, including mealtime management and liaising with GPs, care coordinators, RNs and allied health
  • Attend to medical emergencies and provide first aid as required.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (the Board).
  • Diploma of Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
  • A current Driver's Licence
  • Blue Card
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
