About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse (EN), you'll work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide personal, clinical, and emotional support to individuals with disabilities and complex needs. This role focuses on safe, person-centred care delivered in home and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications in line with clinical protocols and care plans
  • Deliver personal care: hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support
  • Provide wound care and ongoing wound assessment
  • Support chronic disease management through monitoring and client education
  • Manage ostomy care and provide participant support and training
  • Implement and contribute to the development and review of care plans
  • Liaise with allied health professionals, GPs, and the broader care team
  • Oversee and guide support workers in care delivery aligned with individual plans
  • Educate and mentor junior staff to support skill development and high standards of care
  • Document care accurately and report clinical concerns in a timely manner
  • Perform domestic duties (cleaning, meals, laundry) and support social engagement

Position Details

  • Location: Gold Coast (in-home visits)
  • Type: Casual (2–10 hours/week)
  • Pay: $31.46 – $80.08/hour
  • Reports To: Clinical Nurse Manager / RN

What You Need

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years' experience
  • First Aid and CPR Certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC
  • Australian working rights
  • Driver's licence (preferred)
