We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated team of highly experienced mathematic educators to commence at the start of Term 1, 2026.

To be successful in securing this position, you will have demonstrated teaching ability across Years 7 – 12 Mathematics including to ATAR level. You will have strong ICT skills, an ability to differentiate material to effectively deliver the mathematics curriculum to mixed ability classes and be flexible and collegial in your approach to teaching. Above all, you will need to be a team player seeking to make the learning of mathematics fun and enjoyable for our students.

This permanent, full-time position provides an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate educator to enhance students' interest in mathematics.

Our preferred candidate will be an innovative and engaging practitioner who is seeking a role that allows them to bring the study of Mathematics to life teaching in state-of-the-art classrooms at our newly opened campus at 441 Murray Street.

Reporting to the Head of Learning Area – Mathematics, you will be working in a highly supportive department surrounded by several other experienced and committed Mathematic Educators.

The ability to form strong relationships with our students and their families will be pivotal to the role as will making the mathematics learning environment engaging, rigorous and supportive.

This position will include the responsibility for the pastoral care of students and participation in the cocurricular and camp programs which already exist at St George's Anglican Grammar School.

Key Appointment Criteria

·       Appropriate qualifications as a Mathematics Teacher within Western Australia.

·       Experience in, and a demonstrated passion for, the teaching of Mathematics across Years

·       A proven ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff and parents.

·       Experience in teaching Mathematics to ATAR Level.

·       Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills.

·       Outstanding ICT skills including proficiency in the use of smart boards to enhance student learning.

·       Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team-based setting.

·       An ability and vision to bring Mathematics to life and to make learning fun within the context of a city-based school.
