Western Australian College of Agriculture (WACoA) – Cunderdin provides Year 11 and 12 students with a unique educational experience focused on innovation and excellence. The College is located adjacent to the Wheatbelt town of Cunderdin, 160kms east of Perth. The Role

WACoA - Cunderdin is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Health and Physical Education Teacher to deliver Secondary Physical Education courses. The role will involve some General Mathematics teaching.

As a highly skilled Health and Physical Education teacher, you will cultivate a culture of high expectations and display a commitment to excellence by applying a range of pedagogies and utilising data to inform planning. The successful applicant will ideally be flexible, adaptive and reflective in their practice to support professional growth and improve educational outcomes for students.

The role requires a culturally responsive educator, possessing high level interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse and dedicated team. The ability to differentiate curriculum and utilise explicit instruction as part of our Whole College Instructional Model will be essential. We highly value applicants with an ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, supporting them to achieve their potential.

Experience in coaching teams for competitions and leading extra-curricular sporting activities would be an advantage.

The successful applicant should exhibit the capacity to teach General Mathematics and link mathematical concepts with real-world application.

Teachers and school administrators employed at WACoA - Cunderdin in 2026 are eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $3 000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment. The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.
