Seeking a Receptionist / Administration Officer for a surgical private practice, 'The LPB Surgery Group.'

Please see the included but not limited to relevant administrative duties;
The utilisation of medical software, 'Gentu', to oversee the management of the practice, which includes the accurate, up-to-date and organised maintenance of patient records. Training will be provided.
Ensuring patient appointments are efficiently booked and managed in accordance with the policies and procedures of the practice. This involves coordinating with patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff.
Ensuring all necessary medical records are obtained prior to the initial consultation. This includes identifying the necessary reports and coordinating with medical providers to obtain the medical records of the patients. This includes but is not limited to the following; relevant referral, pathology, radiology and medical correspondence which are required to be complete and accurate. Further, ensure that all documentation is recorded into the Gentu software.
Printing, mailing, scanning and emailing letters, incoming medical records and other relevant correspondence to patients, referring doctors and essential personnel. This includes ensuring documents are printed accurately and legibly, whilst completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Identifying the necessary referrals and medical records are sent to the appropriate health care providers.
Greeting patients at the clinic in a warm and friendly manner. This includes checking them in for their appointment, verifying their personal information, ensuring their patient records are uploaded and accurate and answering any questions they may have.
Ensuring the practice is open and ready at the start of the day, then properly secured at the end of the day. This includes maintenance of locks and lights and sanitising the desktops.
Please note that this is a part-time contract position, with the potential to become permanent part-time and increase from 2 to 3 days per week.
