The Opportunity
We're looking for a driven and construction-literate
Technical Installation Manager - Construction
to lead installer capability programs and support builder engagement across NSW.
Reporting to the Segment Manager – Install AU, you'll be the local installation expert, helping accelerate the adoption of new James Hardie exterior products by improving installation quality, reducing costs, and supporting builder confidence.
What You'll Do
- Own and implement the James Hardie installer program across NSW
- Train and support installers and builders to improve efficiency and quality
- Partner with third-party supply & install providers to drive performance
- Support builder acquisition and retention through expert construction guidance
- Champion EH&S and best practice installation across the industry
- Collaborate with complementary product suppliers to deliver full walling solutions
- Deliver training to internal sales teams to build product capability
- Provide market feedback to support innovation and product development
What you'll bring
- Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, ideally as a Carpenter, Site Supervisor or Leading Hand
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of Australian construction workflows and OH&S standards
- Commercial acumen and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience introducing new building products to market is highly regarded
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite i.e. Excel and CRM systems e.g. Salesforce
