The Company

Going Up is one of Australia's largest independent, Australian-owned elevator companies — proudly manufacturing, installing, servicing, and modernising lifts along the east coast.

With a strong pipeline of projects and a great team culture, we're expanding our Sydney installation team and looking for Lift Installers — including qualified Electricians, Mechanics, or Fitters who want to move into a specialised, long-term career in the elevator and lift industry.

Our worksites are located across Sydney, with our office based in Brookvale.

The Role

As a Lift Installer, you'll be involved in the full installation process — assembling, wiring and fitting out new lift systems from start to finish. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, developing skills in one of Australia's most stable and rewarding trades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, align and commission lift and elevator equipment.
  • Manage materials and tools on site.
  • Work closely with team leaders, supervisors, and builders.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment.
  • Complete projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Support the testing and commissioning phase of each installation.

About You

  • Trade qualified or experienced in electrical, mechanical or construction work.
  • Mechanically or electrically minded, with a strong interest in technical hands-on work.
  • Reliable, organised and a strong team player.
  • Commitment to safety and professional workmanship.
  • Lift or elevator experience is great — but not essential; full training is provided.
