We now have a unique opportunity for an Administrative Assistant & Functions Coordinator to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the executive management team and board, including coordination of meetings, preparation of board papers and accurate minute taking.
  • Coordinate and support key governance events such as Annual General Meetings, elections and committee meetings.
  • Administer the ClubGRANTS community program, working with local community and sporting organisations to manage applications and ensure compliance.
  • Act as the friendly first point of contact for stakeholders including board members, community and sporting groups as well as potential function clients.
  • Drive function bookings ensuring all enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally as well as proactively promote the usage of our seven multipurpose function rooms.
  • Prepare reports and assist with a range of administrative tasks across the executive management team.

About you

  • Previous experience in an administrative or PA role, ideally within a Club or not-for-profit organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence liaising with a wide range of people.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft 365.
  • Experience preparing minutes, reports and coordinating events or functions.
  • Proactive, resourceful and excited to take initiative, especially in functions and community engagement.
