Eco-Farms, an industry leader in organic fresh produce, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Accountant to join our highly qualified and professional Finance team.

This is a temporary part-time/full time role to cover for an employee going off for a 1 year maternity leave

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts, overseeing accounts payable, and supporting accurate financial reporting to ensure smooth business operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in preparation full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing
  • Completion of the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules
  • Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate posting of transactions
  • Ownership of accounts payable (invoice processing, supplier reconciliation, payments and query resolution)
  • Support audit preparation and liaise with auditors
  • Training and mentoring junior staff

Skills & Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; prior experience handling full set of accounts preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and time-management
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
